Created just for Craft Gin Club members with our July Gin of the Month, Theodore Pictish Gin, in mind, this floral, fruity and zingy tipple beautifully showcases the gin’s varied botanicals, from honey and pink pepper to damask rose. Create your own strawberry and rose syrup and with a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of black pepper, shake up the flavours of British summertime to enjoy, one sip at a time!

Red Rose

50ml Theodore Pictish Gin
25ml lemon juice
15ml strawberry & rose syrup*
Pinch of ground black pepper
Red rose petal, to garnish

Add your gin, lemon juice, strawberry & rose syrup, and ground black pepper to a cocktail shaker. Shake for at least a minute with ice cubes. Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish and serve. Cheers!

* To make strawberry & rose syrup, you’ll need 400g strawberries, 200g caster sugar and half a teaspoon of rose water. Combine chopped and rinsed strawberries with sugar and place them in the fridge overnight. Strain the syrup through a mesh and add rose water.
