Here at Craft Gin Club, we like to share the love for the gin scene around the world, wherever those like-minded and fabulous folk may come from!

The USA, as the birthplace of many a classic gin cocktail and home to some of the best gin bars to be found anywhere, holds a special place in our heart.

So what better to honour our gin-loving friends across the water than with some red, white and blue cocktails that we can all sip on come the 4th July? Gin-lovers from New York to LA and from New Orleans to Seattle: we salute you!

RED: Raspberry Gin Fizz

25ml raspberry simple syrup*
50ml gin
50ml lime juice
Soda water
Raspberries and lemon slice, to garnish

*For the raspberry simple syrup:
400g fresh raspberries
400g sugar
400g water

To make the raspberry simple syrup, combine raspberries, sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Heat gently and stir until the berries have broken down and the sugar and water have combined into a syrup. Strain into a glass and allow to cool. Makes enough for several drinks.

Once your syrup is cool, combine syrup, gin and lime juice in a glass with lots of ice and stir. Top up with soda water and garnish with raspberries and lemon slice.
