Pop an M&S Love Cucumber into your special someone's G&T this Valentine's Day

First came the, frankly, astonishing heart-shaped sausage, and now Marks & Spencer has come up with another world first for Valentine’s Day: the Love Cucumber. Gosh.

Yes, in yet another “what will they think of next” moment, M&S has produced perfectly heart-shaped cucumbers - ideal for popping into your special someone’s gin and tonic on 14th February as a fun token of your appreciation!

After all, nothing says “I love you” more than a romantic vegetable, right?

Priced at £1 each, the cucumbers were grown in heart-shaped moulds on an M&S Select Farm in Kent. However, the Love Cucumber is a VERY limited edition and is only available in 94 of the company’s biggest stores around the UK.

Shoppers have been reacting with delight and, um, giggles to the product launch, with one reader on Instagram commenting: “Oooooooeeeeeerrrrr, M&S! What will my mother say about this?” and another wondering if she had accidentally stumbled onto the Anne Summers website. We can’t imagine what they’re referring to…
