Do You Think Hemingway Would Drink This Daiquiri?

This re-imagined Hemingway Daiquiri may have been dreamt up had the drink’s namesake, Ernest Hemingway, decided to make the 4,500-mile journey from Cuba, where the Daiquiri was born, to Shetland Reel’s distillery in Unst, Shetland. The floral cherry notes of the Maraschino liquor pair beautifully with the aromatic grapefruit notes of the Shetland Reel Filska Gin in November’s Gin of the Month. Tart, sweet and fruity, this drink’s juniper twist has a lighter flavour than the traditional rum.
