OMG: we want a pink gin and chocolate Easter egg from Aldi!

NEW FOR 2021: We've made our very own milk chocolate Easter egg that comes with a gin flavoured with cocoa and raspberries and a London Essence tonic water so that you can have the perfect night in this Easter. With delicious chocolate and all you need for an eggcellent pink G&T, our Pink Gin Eggstravaganza is divine.

Pink Gin Eggtravaganza

If you have been following our blog, then you will know that we are big chocoholics here at Craft Gin Club HQ. So Easter is a bit of a biggy for us, as you can probably tell from all of these Easter egg themed cocktails and by the way we lost it with excitement when The Treat Kitchen released their gourmet Gin and Tonic Easter Egg a couple of years ago.

So we were more than a little excited when we got wind of Aldi’s plan to release boozy Easter eggs this year, especially when it was confirmed that our favourite tipple is included in the line up!

That’s right, Aldi is releasing boozy Easter eggs and gin is one of the stars! We can hardly contain ourselves!

Aldi has released the details of two boozy Easter eggs. One is a Prosecco egg, made from milk chocolate, raspberry and Aldi’s own Prosecco Superiore DOCG (YUM!), and the other egg, the one we are particularly starry-eyed for, is their pink gin egg.

The novelty treat will be made of white chocolate and contains Aldi’s Grayson’s Pink Gin - we can’t wait to try it!

Not only do both eggs sound delicious, but they also look ultra-chic with their stylish geometric pattern designs. So they will look amazing on your gin shelf too - if they last long enough to make it up there!

The cherry on top is the price: both 160g eggs will be just £4.99 each.

We wouldn’t be surprised if more than one egg “accidentally falls” (egg-cidentally?) into our shopping cart this Easter.

These will definitely be going onto our Easter wish list, along with Saver’s brand new Creme Egg gin liqueur! If you haven’t heard about it yet, then let us fill you in!

This new gin liqueur is by Bramble’s and will come in 50 cl bottles for only £7.99! Now be warned, this is not associated with Cadbury, so it will be Bramble’s own Creme Egg flavoured recipe but we are sure they will hit the nail on the head though - we can’t wait to try it!

Can Easter please come a little sooner?

Pleeease!
